The Shelby County Dept. of Human Resources was off-limits Thursday, as police collected evidence in a criminal investigation. The suspect, 29-year old DHR employee Brandon Daniel of Pelham, was accused by a female DHR client, of inappropriate sexual contact. Alabaster police chief Curtis Rigney said the crime happened at a home in the city. Daniel was taken into custody following a police interview, Rigney said. Investigators believed evidence might be located in the suspect's DHR office, and executed a search warrant. Daniel is charged with indecent exposure, soliciting for purpose of influencing official action, harassment and theft of property.
