A Hoover man is in trouble with the law after police say he tried to reenact a scene from the video game "Grand Theft Auto." It happened while he was in Baton Rouge for the Auburn-LSU game. 20-year old Zachary Burgess, an Auburn University lacrosse player, is charged with stealing a car from outside a bar early Saturday. Detectives say a woman was inside the vehicle. Police say Burgess hit several other cars before the woman escaped. Witnesses stopped Burgess, and held him for police. Investigators say Burgess told them he enjoys playing "Grand Theft Auto," and wanted to see what it would be like in real life. No serious injuries are reported. Burgess is facing charges of kidnapping, vehicle theft, and hit-and-run driving.
