Born and raised right here in Birmingham, the daughter of a phenomenal and nationally recognized artist (mother) and a Frogman that later became one of our country's very first Navy SEALs (father).
Studied Mass Comm/ Journalism @ Jacksonville State University.
The Wife of one very brave Birmingham Fire Fighter.
The Mama of one very strong willed 4 year old.
Started her radio career as an intern at the rock station across the street.
Landed her first job on a local morning show and (literally) got the call from Magic (on the request line) and the rest is history!

This past Thanksgiving, Ava and I sat down and talked about the reasons we were thankful. She decided to make a list. BTW, she thinks that Santa's name is written like that because that's how it is pronounced in the claymation special, "Here Comes Santa Clause", that she watches constantly. Oh, and that would be a heart under God's name and I'm not quite sure what it is under, "Jeesis' " name. I do believe I could eat her up. :)
